Coming Soon to an Arena Near You: Ace Comic Con

In terms of great comic book conventions you have such iconic conventions such as San Diego Comic Con, Emerald City Comic, C2E2 and New York Comic Con. These conventions have built up their level of guest power and greatness over years of time. That’s what it takes to get the best guests in the industry coming to a convention correct? Up until about a week ago we would have said yes, but there is a new convention on the block Ace Comic Con.

Ace Comic Con seemingly came out of nowhere bringing in a guest list of such high magnitude, most conventions take years to get this level of guest appearance. We found out about Ace through a post that seemed random on Henry Cavill’s, the current actor playing Superman, Instagram account. At first glance the post seemed fake as it was just a link in his profile, however in the coming days that this convention is in fact not only real, but they are bringing a different type of convention to the world.

Rather than being held in the typical convention center, Ace Universe is holding these conventions in arenas. The thought here is to allow everyone to have the experience to see and hear from their favorite pop culture icons, rather than just the few thousand that can get into Hall H at San Diego after camping out for multiple days. The idea of a convention in an area is truly a genius idea, not only are you giving everyone the opportunity to be able to see and hear from today’s top talent in the comic book and movie industry, you are giving the attendees a life changing experience to be so close to the people they look up to on the silver screen and whose works they admire flipping through the page of a comic book.

Ace Universe announced two separate conventions. One convention in New York in Long Island being held on December 8th, 9th and 10th will feature every member of the current Justice League movie sans Ben Affleck. The first convention Ace is starting with has a guest list that even the best and longstanding conventions could only dream of. If DC comics and the cast of the Justice League does not excite you they have something for the Marvel fans as well. The second announced convention will take place in Glendale, Arizona in January on the 13th, 14th and 15th and will feature most of the cast from Captain America: The Winter Solider and Captain America: Civil War. Top guest highlights at this convention include Chris Evans, Captain America himself as well as everyone’s favorite wall crawler Tom Holland from the highly esteemed Spiderman: Homecoming.

From the guest lists at each of these conventions alone, they have all of the right ingredients to be a success and since you are having a larger group of people being able to see and hear from their favorite entertainment industry icons, the word of mouth from these individuals alone will make an Ace Comic Con a must attend event.
